Testing ODBC Connections on Windows

1. To start the ODBC Administrator, select the icon from the DataDirect program group. The ODBC Data Source Administrator window appears listing resident data sources.
2. Create an ODBC data source as described in . In a client/server configuration, you specify the TCP/IP address and TCP/IP port of the OpenAccess SDK service.
3. Click the Test Connect button to test the connection. If successful, a dialog appears telling you the connection was successful. You are now ready to start using your ODBC applications with an OpenAccess SDK data source.
