Using LDAP with the OpenAccess SDK Clients

This chapter explains how OpenAccess SDK Clients use LDAP directories to retrieve connection information and describes how to create and update LDAP entries for OpenAccess SDK services.
Note: Using LDAP can be helpful in the OpenAccess SDK client/server configuration. The OpenAccess SDK Local Server contains both the client and server, and communicates between these components in the same process. Using LDAP with the OpenAccess SDK Local ODBC Client is not useful and is not supported.
