JDBC Client

The JDBC Client is used in a client/server architecture. The JDBC Client supports the use of LDAP servers and SSL.
The JDBC Client uses the Progress DataDirect wire-level protocol to communicate with the DataDirect OpenAccess SDK Server as shown in Figure 5.

The JDBC driver is compliant with the JDBC 4.0 specification.
